Gair Rhydd, meaning 'free word' in Welsh, is the name of Cardiff University's award-winning student newspaper. As a Cardiff student, I was a regular contributor to Gair Rhydd, writing on a range of subjects from local news to international affairs, sports, and the occasional opinion piece.
